Canterbury Floor Plan (Reverse Layout)
Socially designed with a large, spacious layout and lots of storage
Unlike the traditional designs that were built with the bedrooms (sleeping cabins) close to the helm (where the driver stands to pilot the boat), the Canterbury adopts a reverse layout meaning the saloon and galley are at the back so that the driver is less isolated while cruising and can be more easily fuelled with tea and coffee.
Front Deck (Bow)
Spacious bow with useful detachable oak table, the perfect space to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine. Accessed by double doors from the cabin, with stylish Teak flooring, horseshoe seating incorporating locker storage below, Kinver canopy and external power supply.
Bedroom (Kingsize Bed)

The brushed stainless steel RCD double sockets, along with a plastic socket inside the TV unit, are powered by a Victron 3000W/120A inverter system, ensuring reliable electricity whether you're cruising or moored in a marina with shoreline access.
12v System
The 600Ah Gel Tubular domestic batteries, charged by a dedicated alternator, ensure consistent power while cruising. These batteries connect to an Aqualine custom-built distribution panel with circuit breakers for all appliances, offering a safe and efficient electrical system. The boat features comprehensive lighting, including wall lights, LED downlights, and uplighters that beautifully illuminate the entire interior. Build
The hull was constructed from high-grade steel, ensuring durability and stability on the water before being welded. Once the hull was complete, the boat progressed to the fit-out stage, where the interior was customised to the build specification, amenities, and bespoke features as well as the installation of the electrical and plumbing systems.
Paint
The boat was finished with a multi-stage paint process beginning with surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and priming, to create a smooth and even base. Next, a primer was applied followed by multiple layers of topcoat paint associated with the specification colours.

Boat Delivered
Rivendell made the long journey by road from Gdansk, Poland and was delivered to us at PS Marina, Watford in May 2017.
Preparing To Be Lifted
This was a little nerve-wracking but so exciting. Smooth lift with no issues (phew!!)
Launched
Finally in the water, we stayed at Watford for a few weeks while carpets were fitted and sofas were delivered, then embarked on our maiden voyage up to our Bletchley mooring.
Walk Past (Port Side)
Beautifully finished in tones of aubergine and damson with cream trim and anti- slip roof. Travel chimney is in situ. A larger chimney stack for use when moored up is also included.
